Home Sweet Home - (soon!)

The house passed yesterday's inspection!  Next step: appraisal.  

In the meantime, just a little note because there are a few Diva-related items in our home-to-be that get me very, very excited:

A gas stove.  I haven't had a gas stove since I've moved out of my parents' house and I am so over electric.

(Um, except the current home owner didn't get my memo on proper tea kettle placement: back left burner.  But I forgive her.  It's possibly the cleanest stove I've ever seen.)

An island.  Do you have any idea how much this increases my counter space????  I am over.the.moon.

A full size washer and dryer.  In a separate room.  With a door.  And the color isn't bisque.

Sometimes it really is the simple things.
